Sparkassen Cup (December)

The Can't Miss Swiss ended the 2001 season with a bang today at the Columbia Tennis Center, with an impressive win over Magnus Larson. The match lasted right under an hour, being calculated at just 52 minutes. Throughout the match, Williams displayed strong groundstrokes, accurate volleys and remarkabley powerful serves; with deep placement.

"He was just too good today," said Larson after the match. "He was moving the ball and just whapping it, so there wasn't much I could do."

Michael's Journal

Hey everyone!

I'm taking the next few weeks off from tennis, until late December. My return to competitive tennis will not begin until January in Australia. I hope that everyone of you will have a wonderful holiday season, as I hope to do the same!
